In this podcast, Isabella Howe re-examines her perceptions about Vietnam and the Vietnam War after collecting oral histories from McDonough County residents Tom Carper and James Wyatt. As veterans, they share their experiences serving overseas as well as what they encountered returning to their own country and hometown.

Isabella Howe worked as a Summer Program Assistant in 2023. In the fall, she began her first year at Macomb High School.
