On Sunday, June 19th the Western Illinois Museum will hold a silent auction for an International Harvester No. 82 Pull-Type Combine, a 1/16th scale toy manufactured by SpecCast. The toy is in its original box and has not been used.
The silent auction takes place during a performance by Macomb’s Prairieland Barbershop Chorus followed by an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social. The music and bidding begin at 2:00 pm and the auction closes at 4:00 pm. Phone bids are welcome; please contact the Museum at 309.837.2750 to make arrangements for an off-site bid.
All funds raised will be used for the Renovate to Innovate Capital Campaign which will add an HVAC system to the “old-garage” part of the Museum’s building. For more information about the planned renovation, click here.
