Maddy hails from Effingham, Illinois,  and is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha at WIU.  She will receive three credits for her time at the museum this summer and she is interested in learning about collection management and exhibit research and installation. As she enters her last year, she is building her resume working at the library on campus in the mornings and spending the afternoons at the museum.  Her professional goal is to work in public history.

Abby has completed her coursework for her degree and will spend 12 weeks working at the museum this summer.  Her professional interest is working in event management and she will be applying her recent studies to get our new exhibit space, The Blind Swine, up and running. The Blind Swine is a blend of exhibits and programs and our interns are the perfect team to assist the museum with this new initiative.
