Make a Corn Husk Doll

October 16, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us in celebrating the harvest season. Stop by on Saturday, October 16th during the Moon Over Macomb festivities and make a Corn Husk Doll from 10:00 am to noon.

How to Participate
There are two ways to participate:

  • Stop by the museum and we’ll walk you through how to turn corn husks into a doll.
  • Pick up the materials and follow the instructions at home.

Where: Outside!!
Come around to the south side of the Museum where we’ll have tables set up six feet apart. We ask that you wear a mask and practice social distancing. The museum is located at 201 South Lafayette Street, just one block south of Macomb’s Courthouse Square.

While you’re visiting, take a look at our collection of corn harvesting tools and even give some of them a try.

The event is free and open to the public.
