Haunted Museum Tours

The Western Illinois Museum will offer its annual Haunted Museum Tour on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Drop by anytime for all-age tours that begin at 11:00 am and running continuously until 1:00 pm. The event is part of the Moon Over Macomb activities and will be held at the Western Illinois Museum located at 201 South Lafayette Street, one block south of Macomb’s Courthouse Square. The event is free and open to the public; donations appreciated.
Get in the Halloween spirit with a little haunted historic fun. The Western Illinois Museum will open its storage area for a behind-the-scenes tour of its collection of curiosities. On this all-ages tour, guests have an opportunity to talk with re-enactors who tell their troubling tales! At the end of the brief tour, guests are invited to relax, hang-out and watch old-time cartoons with their favorite trick-or-treater. Popcorn and warm spiced cider will be served.
