Tuba Christmas
Friday, December 2nd, 7:00 to 8:00 pm
Yes, you read that right. We invite you to hear a new interpretation of your favorite holiday music. We are pleased to host one of the many 49th Anniversary concerts of an international movement that celebrates the tuba and euphonium. This unique group is under the direction of WIU music professor, Dr. James Land who brings together local tuba and euphonium players of all ages to offer this memorable musical performance. Note: This concert will be held in the unheated part of the Museum building.
The museum is located one block south of Macomb’s Courthouse Square at 201 S. Lafayette Street. Programs are free and open to the public; donations are appreciated. For more information contact the museum at info@wimuseum.org, call 309.837.2750, or text 309.837.2613. Follow us on Facebook for updates and to hear about other upcoming events.
