Taking Questions with Tim Roberts

December 16, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Tim Roberts

Taking Questions is a discussion series held on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.  Programs are held on Our Front Porch (indoors!), where informal learning and good conversation are at the fore.

In this series, the museum welcomes some of the area’s most accomplished Historians and Political Scientists to lead conversations around topics in their field of expertise. Asking questions is essential to understanding. The museum is a community hub for informal learning and this series of programs puts guests in the driver’s seat to shape the conversation. The series has been organized with the guidance of historian Larry Balsamo, who will act as the series’ facilitator.

December 16th Tim Roberts will help us understand the how the Civil War impacted west central Illinois. Guests are invited to ask questions and participate in the discussion. Online participants can use the YouTube comment feature to submit questions and comments.

In-person or On-line: You choose!
In-person seating will be limited to 15 people with masks required and social distancing observed. The program will also be streamed live on YouTube. An internet connection is needed to view and participate in the program. To reserve a seat or get the link, call the museum or select either an “in-person ticket” or “online ticket” from the museum’s website (www.wimuseum.org). There is a suggested $5 donation that can be made at the door or online when you request a ticket at https://wimuseum.networkforgood.com/events/24021-taking-questions.
