Public Humanities Awards Watch Party

The Western Illinois Museum is being recognized by the IL Humanities, the Illinois affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. To celebrate we are planning a party and you are invited.
Join hundreds of other Illinois Humanities fans at noon on May 19 for a fast-paced hour of humanities-centric storytelling that will be streamed live from Chicago. We’ll host a watch party at the Museum to mark the accomplishments of our local Museum. Bring a brown bag lunch and we’ll provide the cake and balloons.
Who: This award is for all of us! We would like to celebrate with all our partners and supporters who helped develop our programs and exhibits, provided their assistance, and offered financial support.
When: Thursday, May 19th from noon to 1:00. Drop by at 11:30 am to mingle and view the recent renovations.
Who: EVERYONE! This is your local Museum!
What: Bring your lunch or order out and let’s celebrate. Cake will be served!
